ABOUT ADEEL

Engineering across hardware and software.

Senior FPGA & Embedded Systems Engineer · More than 10 years of professional engineering experience.

Adeel Akhtar, tech leader in FPGA and embedded systems

Adeel Akhtar

My portfolio brings together FPGA and embedded-system projects for recruiters, engineering managers, companies, and other engineers.

The emphasis is on the engineering: what a system needs to do, how its architecture supports that goal, and what the working demonstration shows.

My focus areas include FPGA architecture, VHDL, low-latency systems, video and image processing, embedded systems, hardware/software co-design, and AI-assisted engineering.

HOW I APPROACH ENGINEERING

What I Learned Building My FPGA Hobby Projects

From video filters to hardware debugging, my personal projects help me explore ideas and make design choices clear. They reflect how I approach a problem: understand the limits, build a manageable system, test its behavior, and explain the results.

I share the lessons behind these projects—and the approach I would bring to an engineering team.
